America’s biggest corporations shelled out millions to support Freedom 250 and then did not disclose the payments on lobbyist contribution reports due to Congress last Friday. Trump himself is the chair of Freedom 250. trib.al/bb9On0R

Incredible nonsense from John Cornyn. True, the harm to Epstein’s victims can’t be remedied by a “no” vote. But why should Blanche’s corrupt cover-up of the Epstein files—in violation of a Congressional mandate(!)—be rewarded by “yes”? Can’t get any more craven than this.
Cornyn justifies his support for Blanche: "That's one of those things that can't be remedied by a 'no' vote"
Probably would've been nice to know this before the 2024 election, but sure
ABC has picked it up now. "Capital One says it closed hundreds of Trump's bank accounts in 2021 'for anti-money laundering reasons'"

the most annoying thing about the What We Should Have Done With COVID discourse is that the actual viable option to accept more health risk in exchange for less disruption was not to rawdog the plague, it was to push the vaccine wide earlier with worse trial data
Ironically, the biggest accessibility benefit when Philly switched to a BMD-based system was that the new machines were so heavy and cumbersome that they had to make sure all polling stations were wheelchair accessible, because there was no other way to bring the machines in.
@schiff.senate.gov @padilla.senate.gov Hi! You're my Senators. Can you make sure the issue of ending Trump's $1.8B Slush Fund deal gets dealt with during Todd Blanche's confirmation hearings?
Todd Blanche promised that the $1.8B slush fund for insurrectionists was dead, yet he refuses to put that in writing and Trump says he may temporarily pull Blanche's AG nomination instead of heeding demands to put the promise in writing. Sure looks like Blanche lied about the slush fund being dead.
overlooked fact: Blanche also changed the rules so he rather than the Bureau of Prisons decides where federal inmates are housed. So protesters can be sent to max security and Trump’s friends to country club prisons.

ICE agents threatened to beat up a Seattle small business owner, married to a citizen, with NO criminal record unless he signed a "voluntary" departure. I'm told there were cameras in the room. I'm demanding any video and that Eduardo be brought home immediately.
On Thursday, ICE needlessly detained Eduardo Aguirre Esparza, a local Seattle small business owner with no criminal history. This is a man who is married to an American citizen and with deep ties to our local community who was working hard to pursue a legal pathway to lawful permanent residence.
And wow, this hearing has gone wildly off the rails already. Rand Paul has had security remove Fauci’s attorney from the room.

I wrote a mildly famous essay about it not long after whose title sums it up: in text-based communications, the autism spectrum runs backwards. Neurotypicals are missing the social cues they depend on; autistics PREFER to interpret plain-text. So the "normals" are the ones throwing tantrums. (2/2)

Minneapolis! Pediatric trial of a new pneumococcal vaccine, control group receives the already-approved one.
I'm recruiting for a pediatric pneumococcal vaccine study for children 15mo to <5 years in Minneapolis. No placebo, standard side effects. 2 in person visits and a phone call and requires a couple 5ml blood draws and a week of reaction monitoring surveys. It is well compensated. Message for details.
