Bay Area friends: would you consider opening your home to these two cuddly cats? A friend found them behind a gas station. Their sibling, a black cat, got adopted, but it appears no one likes orange cats. They are being kept in a bathroom for the time being and need a home.

A friend of mine found these three kittens behind a Bay Area gas station. They are tame, vaccinated, and incredibly affectionate. Unfortunately, she's unable to keep them and I'm trying to find them a home. They are at risk of going to a shelter. Bay Area people, are you open to adopting?

Three kittens in a cage. Two are orange and one is black.

2024: Winston Peters compares Co-Governance to Nazi policy 2026: Winston gets upset that a member of NZ First's youth wing is clearly a Nazi supporter You can bet if it were a Green member he'd be calling the whole party Nazi sympathizers. #nzpol

I can’t say enough how vital this kind of writing is. It shouldn’t be rare to see decision makers & leaders being held to account, but this is one of the few crystal clear, absolutely on point articles I’ve seen outside of the excellent work being done by those who don’t have a mainstream platform.

“There is at least one important section of society where little shittery is rampant, destructive and harmful to the environment of the workplace. It’s actively impeding the ability of well-behaved people to perform well & limiting productivity. I’m talking, of course, about parliament.” No notes🙌

The media catches on. #nzpol “With Winston Peters able to remove Mr Luxon from his job at any time, but Mr Luxon having proven himself unable or unwilling to assert authority in the other direction, the charade is unveiled: it is Mr Peters who is the de facto prime minister and controls the govt”

Editorial: Luxon’s impotence makes him prime minister in name only

Winston Peters can remove Christopher Luxon whenever he wants, but it seems it’s not the other way round.

this is an interesting interview and if i were clipping it for social media i would have excerpted "We're still a place where we don't downrank links. We love sending traffic to people. We send two million clicks a day to publishers" rather than the part that'll just piss people off lol

Bluesky's new CEO Toni Schneider on the platform's reputation for being a liberal bubble: "Yes, we definitely want that to change. It is already changing. It certainly wasn’t designed to attract one specific group of people."

Hello I have made this due to a mutual having issues with some folks on here forgetting this fact and shouting at him for it. Feel free to use it as a handy PSA x

O interesting. I thought Winston fulminating against Charlie Mitchell last week must be about the Remigration NZ story But no, it's that Young NZ First [sic] turns out to have Nazis in it Senior NZ First youth figure linked to neo-Nazi group www.thepress.co.nz/politics/361...

NZ First youth leader linked to neo-Nazi network

A senior figure in New Zealand First’s youth wing has links to neo-Nazi groups and online accounts praising Adolf Hitler, an investigation by The Press has found.

"Basically, if you don't do politics, politics is going to do you." If you don’t do politics, the over 70’s will design a society that they’ll never see the consequences of, but will have you living a more expensive, unhealthy & oppressive existence than you are facing right now.YOUR VOTE MATTERS.
