In a country with a president who is such a destructive sore loser, politicians who are both helpful and gracious in defeat is a greatly appreciated novelty.

Fuck Live Nation and fuck the nostalgia-focused arts paradigm they promote and enable. Fuck the venues that charge to play and/or take a cut of merch sales. And fuck "music fans" who think all of that is fine if it means they get to see their favorite legacy act just one more time...

live nation is actively killing publications that cover new artists while also promoting festivals that almost exclusively cater to nostalgia and legacy acts. these problems are not unrelated.
