This was part of the incentive behind our Guild of Icons second campaign being run as short arcs, each in a different TTRPG system. That and the pinkertons incident, of course. So far we've got a bit of 13th Age, Draw Steel, and now Stars Without Number up!
Markus aka The Chindividual@thechindividual.bsky.social · 2d agoD&D surely is the lingua franca of Actual Play, just like English is the linguistic lingua franca of Actual Plays. That doesn't mean you can't introduce people to new languages. Just like "actual" languages, the more TTRPGs you "speak", the more colorful your experience in the hobby will be.
So, two things happened; firstly Silksong won the poll, so that's what I'll be streaming (once again, I'll be showing off how bad I am at games). Secondly, my funding goal was met. So I guess I'll be playing it for Catgirl Month! There will be a lot of hissing at the screen. -.-

Here’s an indicator that the economy is bad. Scams went from saying you won thousands of dollars to now saying things like, “I have a livable wage-paying job. Are you interested?”
Then why were you mocking a trans person politely critiquing you? Its kinda hard to believe this with how you behaved.

this is an example of the thing i talk about in that it sucks how trans people are constantly forced to be diplomats to cis people because there's a good chance you might be one of the only trans people they've consciously met, but precisely for that reason there's an outsized humanizing effect imo.
