Yes, and there's also a reason why there's a definite subgenre of isekai with titles like "I got hit by a truck and now I've got a rewarding job in another world with a good work/life balance and employers who appreciate me?!?"
Isekai as a genre is exploding in popularity because it appeals to a universal desire to get hit by a truck rather than live in the 21st century.
