Instead of taking on the power of policing directly we keep reaching for clever workarounds that are then used by the police to concentrate more power.
The technological solution to racist policing being abused by the police until it becomes publicly untenable is a particular type of dark irony.

They then used his travel across state lines as tracked by Flock as part of the probable cause justification to search his car.

When we don't adequately fund public universities, and instead force students to take out loans, what we as a society are really doing is borrowing money from the younger generation—their hard-earned future income—to fund a necessary project that benefits us all: building an educated society.

It's impossible not to feel like the lead is changing even though all the votes are already in and the result will be the same at the end of the count as it was when the polls closed. Not for me though, I understand all this
