Look at the cool detail on this closeup of the Klingon bird-of-prey wing, made by ILM for Star Trek III. Love the gas tank "greeblie" details! No wonder TNG/DS9 used this model so often. I shot this photo when the model was on display a Christies in 2006.

Do people still buy hand-drawn cards these days? I have a bug to try to make a couple of little hand-drawn cards prior to the holiday season, but I'm not sure: 1) whether people would be interested/buy them; 2) how to price them (medium = colored pencil). Also not sure of what subjects to choose! 😅
