It does seem like this is happening. I consider that great news. Diesel generators pump out poison. "Generating the same electricity from a diesel generator as from a solar panel would cost as much in diesel, every three months, as the solar panel itself"

Any diesel experts out there? I've been looking into how battery prices are cutting into diesel generator use. I haven't seen anything recent on the cost breakdowns and with rising diesel prices, this could be another structural change in the works. One recent example.

I’m so sorry, but you have to be crazy to bike in traffic these days. Between people speeding, looking at their phones and being distracted, you’re better off saving cycling for somewhere else. It’s too dangerous

This great little Queen Anne industrial building is a fragment of the once mighty C.A. Anderson Lumber Company, a huge 20 acre factory that employed 800 people and turned out 750,000 board feet of lumber a day. The music stopped when the white pine from Northern Minnesota that supplied it ran out.

The feds have charged ICE agent Christian Castro with making false statements in the Jan. 14 shooting of Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis, per NYT. DOJ leaders in Washington overruled local federal prosecutors, who wanted to bring hefty civil rights charges against Castro, ProPublica reported this morning.
