Hey y’all, my name is Chris. 3D artist and musician in DC Linux evangelist He/Him Matthew 5:3-12 www.christopherelszy.com https://youtube.com/@blendernoob64?si=Dg7607ejDcA4bxxE

Given that my chosen echo-chamber is full of Linux glazing, I genuinely want to see a content creator make a "I love Windows" video to hear an opposing argument. Surely there are people who take Win11's faults in stride and just say "The user experience is just that much better"

If someone can actually decompile the Adobe suite rather than make an ai recreation of them just to mess with them, it would do so so funny. Please decompile CS6 and port it to Linux and I would use it for the lols

The one way to get me to not give a crap about your project is if it is AI vibe slopped. Always check the contributors first to easily find sloppiness in someone's project. I hope that give away stays there or we get digital signatures on things that Claude has touched by a nose hair.

I tasted a forbidden fruit, that being GeForce Now, as a means to play the modern Call of Duty games (another forbidden fruit) on my Mac and my RHEL install. The fact that it worked really well, and was responsive on WiFi of all things makes me horrified for the future of gaming.

I think eventually I will have to cough up some dough to get an internal blu ray drive and a case with a 5.25 bay for my next pc build as this may be my last chance to get an optical drive for a future pc. Damn it I still use physical media. DVDs, blu rays and CDs for life.

I hate being a negative Nelly or raining on parades, but I just get ick vibes from anything Skydance Animation. Brad Bird should know better than to associate himself with a billionaire olograrch and someone who doesn’t know when to NOT hug someone.

What is that type of cut in movies where someone says something and there is a cut where a character replies to what the other said? Like in Fantastic Mr Fox, “we took everything!” cut “they took everything?” I love these and I don’t know the name for it.

Is there a way to automount an XFS drive in WSL? Do I have to mount the drive as admin in Powershell every time? I like how I can mount my ntfs drive on RHEL incase I need to share files between my OSes but for some reason there is no foss driver for XFS.
