Always kind of strange to see a dislike towards adopts as if artists are somehow swindling others. Not everyone has the ability to design a character that meshes with them so purchasing a design that resonates can bring people a lot of joy. I love designing things but I can’t keep every character.

Some people might not be aware, but it is entirely possible that without Dolly Parton we wouldn’t have had a COVID vaccine. She partly funded Moderna’s research and gave the largest individual contribution to make it all happen. Just gives you an idea of the kind of person she was.
Dolly very intentionally fostered kindness, natural curiosity, and care for the well being of others. She pushed for deliberately being the version of yourself you most wanted to be. And never shaming another for whatever their best self looked like. That is the legacy we have to honor.

I love her but I wish people wouldn't say there will never be another like her. She put in the work to enable hope, charity, and success in others every day & would want us to believe that a future of generosity & kindness is still deserved & possible even if she's gone now. We can all enable it.
There's an outpouring of celebration for Dolly's life because she spent it sowing love. Comparatively, there's been revelry in the recent deaths of others because they spent theirs fomenting hate. You get to choose the actions you take in this life. And you also own them. Make sure yours are kind.
Pina is an amazing artist who has helped me understand my adhd (and others!) better. The thing about ADHD is that it can effect others differently. While my ADHD isn't just like Pina's, I can appreciate and learn her work. I think Everyone should get this book!
