An active response group chat I’m in mentioned two incidents of racially based attacks in east Belfast yesterday; another, who works in safeguarding, mentioned that parents are worried about sending their children to school. Read that again. Those are stories you won’t hear about.

Incidents have remained commonplace since 2024, and heavily under reported. One of the reasons is that the PSNI doesn’t record data as it’s obligated to - warned by UNCERD
