If FBI Director Patel wants to pass out branded bourbon or pop bottles in a locker room, he should stick to podcasting. This is a serious job & I don't believe the American people can count on him. Patel should never have been confirmed. He should resign or be fired.

Todd Blanche didn't keep Donald Trump out of jail. The people who kept him out of jail were the ones who refused to remove and bar him from public office (GOP Senators) and those who took far too long to get serious about criminally prosecuting him (Biden's DOJ).

This is collective punishment, which violates the constitutional framework of nearly every nation on Earth, including the United States. At least, it is until the current Christian White Nationalist supermajority of the Supreme Court decide to legalise it in the face of centuries of precedent.

A confession. Since 2015 there have been folks assuring me that Donald Trump's base of support includes people who find him to be humorous and bantering in an off-the-cuff way. Not once since then have I encountered a moment of real wit, certainly none self-aware or self-deprecating. Until now.

Look, he's not even pretending at this point. He DOES NOT CARE if you can't afford anything or get by because of his war. And this war wasn't even about the threat of Iran having nuclear weapons because there was NO imminent threat.
