This guy never served. He faked an injury to avoid the draft. None of his children have served. He called those who did serve their country "suckers and losers." He skipped the centenary memorial for servicemen who died in WWI because it was drizzling. This is more than usually repellent.

Pavel@spavel.bsky.social · 9h agoThe SpaceX IPO only put 5% of its shares on the market. Another 20% were scheduled to unlock after the Q2 earnings call. That call was yesterday. In the meantime, the stock has fallen over 40% from its initial days of trading. $SPCX 📉 9.25% in pre-market trading as shareholders offload this junk.

So many people I encounter, especially in HigherEd, believe the only strategy for this moment is "keep your head down." @debtcollective.bsky.social didn't change priorities in 2024, nor in 2020, nor in 2016. They barreled ahead. There first big win was $800 million. This one is $11 billion.
