See the alternating warm and cold patches in the Northern mid-latitudes? That's the imprint of a quasi-stationary Rossby wave (i.e. oscillations in the jet stream). It's rare to see it so clearly in a monthly-average temperature map.

Unless I'm mistaken, a bathroom with a symbol of a man on the door isn't automatically a 'single-sex service'. So providers/employers will have to make it explicit that their facilities are not for the use of trans people before even beginning to think about enforcement.

I just had a kid and I asked the nurse prepping the vitamin K shot (who had been so nice the entire time) what the shot was out of curiosity and her demeanor just dropped while she explained it. Immediately perked back up when I said to give it to him. It’s obvious she’s had this fight a lot.
