To those mid-tier bands that complained so much about piracy in the '90s, are you better off with streaming and almost no piracy than you were with physical media sales and some piracy? My friends in the music industry tell me the '90s with piracy was a far better deal for writers and performers.

The risk right now is that we have a well-studied ECC primitive that’s made it through decades of attacks, and a relatively new primitive that so far appears to be quantum-resilient, plus an unknown risk that quantum matters. If we’re not doing hybrid then the risk seems higher to me.

Wearing a mask is such a simple way to protect your health in crowded indoor spaces, especially high-risk places like hospitals. It still blows me away how many people would rather get sick over & over again & potentially get long-term health issues from COVID & more, rather than wear a simple mask.
