Lots of things are better but the thing that has improved the most? Flashlights. Used to be you’d have a shitty, dim incandescent bulb running off 4 D-cells. Now you can blind a pilot at 35,000 feet with your single AA LED that stays bright for six months.

Food, man. Food is so much better than it was in 1986. All of it. Poor-people food, restaurant food, fresh food, frozen food. Food is just a hell of a lot better.

Tour is over. I saw nine shows, which I think is a record for me. The first two in Madison were ok, the other seven were all phenomenal. I hope Trey keeps the minikit, at least for a while. Never expected Fenway shows to be so good.
