This has been a difficult summer for biking deaths in Boston. Louisa Gag was killed by a truck driver in July. Now we've just learned that Thomas Rose, a newer Boston resident who was teaching at MIT was hit by a truck driver in August and just died This was the 5th memorial of the summer 😔

Mourners at the silent memorial for Thomas Rose on the MIT campus as they face a building with a round dome on a beautiful late summer afternoon.

The @streets.boston.gov has decided to repave the high crash corridor of Hyde Park Av without any safety improvements. Boston Better Streets Coalition is asking for letters from the community to go to the mayor to call for FIXING the streets not paving over the problem foresthills.boston#write

Hyde Park Avenue: No repaving without safety improvements

Compare Boston’s current resurfacing plan with safer alternatives and tell Mayor Wu’s Streets Team to do better.

It's always so funny to me when Libertarians are car brained. Owning and driving a car involves so much government regulation. Biking and walking are where the freedom is at! (Obviously Liberatarians would prefer to just get rid of any sort of oversight of cars and drivers.)

Wow, Cambridge, MA!! A pedestrian crossing signal by Central Square that gives pedestrians plenty of time to cross: 47 seconds! This is what prioritizing safe streets looks like!! 👏🏽🚶🏻‍♂️
