I like biking. I hate inaction on preventing climate change. I think Boston could be the best city in the US, should have over a million residents, and be fully bikeable #CarLiteBoston #AutomateSafeStreetsMass #BikeJoy "be saintlike on the bike path" GP

I've seen enough. The Cummins "Highway" (that name) complete streets redesign is a shining example of what Boston can do when we put people and safety first in our priorities in street design Sidewalk level bikeway, raised crossings, new trees, traffic circle slowing down drivers. Beautiful & safer

Come ride the new Cummins Highway redesign today. Honestly I think it's become one of the best designed streets in Boston - safe passage for all modes of travel and improved transit facilities. Congrats to @streets.boston.gov on a job well done! @wutrain.bsky.social @mohammedmissouri.bsky.social

Hyde Park Ave needs work too!! If we could get a bike lane up HPA (or Washington St, which might be more doable given it going through Rozzie), connecting to the southeast corridor would be amazing. Or heck even being able to bike safely to forest hills!

It really annoys me when people defending car dependency try to minimize the importance of mobility for children. Kids both want and deserve the freedom to move around their communities and they should be able to do so safely.

THIS SUNDAY: Ride to celebrate Cummins Highway protected bike lanes! www.facebook.com/events/18489...

Canada could experience a 5°C temperature increase by 2100 if current climate policies remain unchanged. This would lead to glacier loss, more frequent droughts and floods, and an extended fire season. Reducing emissions and achieving net-zero emissions by 2075 could limit warming to 3.5°C.

Canadians should prepare for a 5 C hotter future, report warns | CBC News

The federal government's new report summarizing the latest science on climate change warns that under current climate policies, the impact on Canadians will likely be "far from benign."

Every time we bike together as a family on our cargo bike, our kid says "I don't wanna go home yet!" So my partner said one time "let's take the long way home" and now every time we want to take the long way home. I wish everyone could experience this bike joy.

Michelle Wu — still killing bike lanes in the wake of Louisa Gag’s death — getting the climate mic isn’t just.

This has been a difficult summer for biking deaths in Boston. Louisa Gag was killed by a truck driver in July. Now we've just learned that Thomas Rose, a newer Boston resident who was teaching at MIT was hit by a truck driver in August and just died This was the 5th memorial of the summer 😔

Mourners at the silent memorial for Thomas Rose on the MIT campus as they face a building with a round dome on a beautiful late summer afternoon.
