Per this article, UN data indicates that half of the world’s population is urbanized meaning that a very large portion of the globe is out of touch with the natural world. Imagine if every school child could visit a forest, walk along a river, hike a mountain? It could make a world of difference. 💚

Openly Queer Canadians have served as mayors, cabinet ministers, senators, and premiers — because again and again, 2SLGBTQI+ people refused to accept a system that did not see you, hear you, or reflect you.

As much as I dislike FIFA (& my opinion on the lousy cost/benefit of hosting 7 games is on-record), I want Vancouver & its businesses to do as well as possible during the World Cup. And for Vancouverites to enjoy it. I don’t know what other host cities are doing but Vancouver is leaning in visually.
