AOC: This is an inhaler pump. Can you guess what the great innovation was that made it worth preventing this from going generic? It’s this little plastic piece right here. That was a major part of the new patent they filed to extend exclusivity and prevent this life-saving drug from going generic.

THREAD: The boy is called a liar. He’s told not to defend himself. Then the private school owner encourages all of his peers to attack him, one by one. She hits him, repeatedly, with a plastic pipe-like object. How does this school still exist — and receive state funds? 🧵

MAINE— Killer ICE Agent’s ex: “He wanted me to lie about his character. I won’t. He abused me and my daughter… I’ve waited years to speak my truth, and now a man is dead.” They are hiring the worst of the worst.

I don’t know man, who is “the Democratic Party” if it’s not the voters?Democratic voters choose candidates, not party leaders. And party leaders need to listen to what voters are telling us - and right now they are demanding our party be bolder.

I say this with no ill will or animosity: if you hate the Democratic Party, then please don’t run for our nomination. Don’t use our resources. Don’t rely on our volunteers. Don’t use our infrastructure. Don’t ask Democrats to invest their time, money, and energy in your campaign.

"They leaked his tax returns, they tried to destroy him." If revealing your official tax returns -- something every single president and VP for forty years before Trump did voluntarily -- could possibly "destroy" you, that is the scandal.

US attorney for SDNY Jay Clayton defends Trump's taxpayer-funded J6 slush fund: "I don't think we're gonna be talking about this issue in a week because the American people are gonna say, 'Look, they leaked his tax returns, they tried to destroy him. Okay, we resolved that.'"

The framing here - “graduates booed b/c worried about job prospects” - is reductionistic. No, I think the boos also reflect students’ ethical sensibilities about what “AI” and its aggressive rollout represent: corporate greed, environmental destruction, & dehumanizing exploitation, to name a few.

Graduates are booing pep talks on AI at college commencements

Artificial intelligence has become an unwelcome topic at college commencements. Graduates at several colleges and universities have interrupted speakers with boos when they mention AI.

They told you they would. This administration is literally trying to kill off the most vulnerable. 36% of those on Medicaid in CA are children, 40% are births, 12% are seniors (including hospice/homecare), and 8% are people with disabilities. Inhumane and Unconscionable.
