august π@auguststreet.ca Β· 2d agohotter urbanist take: we should ban left turns *completely* in many places. of all traffic signal phases, left turns are the least productive and serve the least amount of people. they dont work well with median BRT/LRT & transit signal priority, and it limits crossing times for all pedestrians.

I generally don't care much about expansion of Portland Streetcar, but a South Portland-North Portland line via an MLK transit mall would go hard (if done right).

This would also require including a commitment to the infrastructure projects necessary to make that happen, such as removing I5 on the Eastbank & an MLK Transit Mall

Car update: I just spent more money fixing stuff on this thing than I spent on a whole ass ebike. $900 for some busted ABS sensors, worn out brake pads/rotors, and some sensor in the engine bay. Cars are dumb.
