To the business community: Rule of law and a reliably knowable regulatory environment are good for the vast majority of businesses, you idiots. Yes, even if that comes with HR saying that sexual harassment and racial slurs are unwelcome in the office.

Morally, this is a disgrace. Politically, a dereliction of Congress's duty. Legally, flagrantly unconstitutional. Strategically, a catastrophe. It's exactly what every dictator wants: to eliminate U.S. aid while the U.S. also threatens everyone from Denmark to Panama to Gaza.
