With art and writing there are an infinite number of decisions to make, and by using an LLM you are limiting yourself to what has statistically happened before - and ripping people off while you do so. With code, there are a finite amount of ways you can write something (especially something good)
Like, there are domains like writing or art where the process is the point, and using LLMs to make "art" is a travesty. You're depriving yourself of the whole process to make a worse product. But for coding... I dunno, I just don't think using LLMs in the process hurts it in the same way

yea this does harken back to what ive said earlier. most human written projects on codeberg are no less of a drain than llm written projects in that theyre all single user, low downloads, taking up 150ish MB of space per. the reasoning to ban is political than anything substantial.

i dont like learning from LLMs tbh. humans tend to structure their writing with a path for the reader to guide their understanding by, and LLM writing is never this way.
