Our DNC members should be protecting and defending our DFL ENDORSED elected officials, not using a politicized DOJ investigation in an attempt to fundraise against her DFL ENDORSED primary opponent.

🧵 My neighborhood in St. Paul, Minnesota still appears to be inundated by feds. A few blocks from my house, a car with plates that didn’t match the vehicle sat idling in a church parking lot for hours. I first noticed it at 7:30 this morning. Four hours later, the pastor spoke to occupant. 1/7
He literally says in this clip that ICE will keep in Minnesota “quick reaction forces” — a military term — to go after “agitators.” Remember that those on the ground in MPLS have spent more than a week trying to tell everyone that Trump’s prior “deescalation” was a ruse and ICE is still operational

Every photo from Minneapolis looks like this. Cops decked out with guns and full tac gear facing off against people in bathrobes, parkas, and sweatpants armed only with whistles and cell phones. Yet every verified MAGA chode on X dutifully calls it a riot or violent insurrection.
The siege of Minneapolis continues. Excellent coverage of how much this brutal and useless assault on an American city just keeps getting worse, despite the regime using headfakes to get much of the media to back off.

Even as the National Guard is deployed in a perimeter around half my neighborhood to try to prevent ICE’s campaign of violence from boiling over, ICE continues to send lurking cars of armed feds on patrol around the city and stage shows of force around the region. Insane. Unthinkable
@wcconews.bsky.social - SHAME ON YOU for credulously repeating the ICEstapo claim that the man killed approached agents with a weapon. By all accounts & video, it was permitted and in no way being pointed at agents. I guess Fox isn't the only state media right now.
There were an estimated 50,000 people marching in the streets to support an economic shutdown, in temperatures so cold your tears freeze to your face and exposed skin is in danger of frostbite. That was preceded by pickets, civil disobedience, and arrests.
National media should really be covering the fact thay every major school, museum, and arts institution in the Twin Cities, and hundreds of local businesses are closed tomorrow to protest federal occupation. Nothing like this at this scale has happened anywhere in America anytime in living memory.
