But the issues identified are clear violations of academic integrity, egregious enough that they likely demand retraction. Outlets like @retractionwatch.com and the Guardian are not right wing reactionary outlets, the criticism of the work is deserved
A good book is a good book is a good book, regardless of the author’s gender. Dipshits not reading a book because the author is a woman is like Tate levels of misogypidity.

Bryan with no i@bryanwithnoi.eurosky.social · 2w agoThere’s a guy in Galway who has a history of being abusive to at least one partner and has been rehabilitated and welcomed by elements of the left in the last 12 months Some of these people spent the better part of 5 years harassing my wife and I over perceived slights and conspiracies.
In fairness, the Apollo astronauts left a lot of bags of their own shit on the moon. The moon should probably be protected, somewhat akin to a nature reserve.

Ok, work hat on: My day job is research integrity for a major academic publisher. AI detection tools for text are unreliable if all they’re parsing is the text. They return false positives all the time. An em dash is not proof of AI use. You know who uses em dashes a lot? Writers.

I'll stop outting their shitty behaviour towards women on one condition. They stop hurting women and people stop covering for them. Agreed? Excellent!
