Crazy thing is it doesn't even take less effort or resources to make a mobile game this could have easily been a f2p console game there's just no confidence in the product

We need to talk about the trope of the abuse survivor who goes on to hurt others. It’s controversial but it’s still a valid topic and how abuse can warp someone’s self worth and relationships.
storyboarding being the new target for "useless menial work that can be automated" means it's now important to highlight how massive of an impact storyboarders have on the final project, it's not the "ugly early drawings before they make it pretty" it makes or breaks good scenes
at some point it's probably best to accept the human experience is largely deterministic and that you can't magically Will Save your way through your past experiences/upbringing making you act negatively

Death of the author is actually the most popular form of literary analysis outside academia. People just don’t call it that. But most people just watch or read things without even thinking about who wrote it.

here's my protip: if you ever like a piece of media and somebody says "okay you can like it but you have to admit it's bad because [arbitrary detail]" you can just say no this goes for game mechanics or storylines that people don't like, etc
