Retired Head Teacher. Trying hard to learn Gaelic. So want independence for Scotland especially for my grandchildren.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Privileged to take the salute at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo tonight. The music, the skill and the spectacle are extraordinary to see. A proud Scottish tradition at its best. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Hopefully ‘the King of the South’ won’t hide from media questioning, as he did on his recent ‘visit to Scotland’, when he came ‘up North’ to announce that Scottish independence was “OFF LIMITS”, regardless of how the people of Scotland choose to vote 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇪🇺😎

Lowe may be trying to keep Restore's most extreme elements happy, but most people are not obsessed with bloodlines or deciding who is British enough. Restore Britain belongs to a terminally online fringe, not mainstream Britain. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

MP Rupert Lowe skewered as he flaps over whether King is a white British man

In a tense live radio exchange, Restore Britain leader Rupert Lowe refused to say whether he believed King Charles should be classed as 'white British' - prompting heavy criticism

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Scotland is a maritime country, almost an island, in the middle of the Atlantic, yet it has no international ports, no international ferry links, no international energy links etc, and almost all our international trade must leave via our ‘gatekeeper’ England What does that say about the union?🇬🇧

Apart from flights, Scotland hasn’t had a direct passenger route to Europe for over 15 years Is that all about to change? 🤔

Hahahaha. Farage now whining that he was badly advised by his overpaid team into calling his stupid by-election. Confirming then that he’s incapable of working it out for himself. Too busy counting his money. Honest to god, Clacton. Don’t be the constituency dunces he needs you to be. (Times)

One senior source said they believed Farage had been poorly advised over calling the by-election in Clacton.
They said that "young advisers" around Farage had not checked whether the standards' commissioner's investigation would continue in the event of the by-election and they had incorrectly assumed it would not. They also criticised "massive salaries" paid to staff who they said were "letting Nigel down".

Arron Banks is helping us send a nice clear message - if you scrutinise the dodgy finances of Reform, you will be sued or put under surveillance. Perfectly normal behaviour from people who want to govern a democracy.

It's why Scotland needs it's own broadcaster and independence, MSM constantly tell people how everything in Scotland is 💩 or controversial, to keep us from realising how much Scotgov does for us and how much more could be done in a normal independent country.

Scottish Labour. Some facts. Scottish Labour is not a Political Party. No entity titled 'Scottish Labour Party' is registered with the electoral commission. Scottish Labour, however it is registered as an Optional Identity Title of a Regional Accounting Unit of the UK Labour Party. 1/

Lib Dems and Conservatives are in the exact same position. That is why with Labour none of the 3 have 'Party' in the title on any election paraphernalia.

Scottish Labour members do not want or desire to be an Independent (or should I say separate) stand-alone political entity. It goes against their whole political DNA from top to bottom in being unionists. They don't believe in anything different and would have it no other way.

Every time Farage posts against a Tory policy remind him that he and most Reform MPs and Reform Councillors are ex-Tories who happily promoted that same policy ... "And let's not forget: around 85% of Reform's MPs are ex-Tories" via Truth Against Hate

We need to talk about Richard Tice In May 2024, Tice told me he didn't expect to fund Reform through his companies any more. So why did £1m from 'Posh' George Cottrell's mother move through a company he controls, then to Reform weeks later? New by me: democracyforsale.substack.com/p/richard-ti...

Richard Tice and Reform’s money - the new unanswered question

Before the 2024 election, Farage's deputy told me he'd stop donating to Reform - so why did £1m from George Cottrell's mother go to one of his companies weeks later?
