I'll be honest: I'd buy this a lot more if his main outlet wasn't abusively attacking opposition politicians via AI slop in ways which obviously nod to other forms of prejudice.

Bonehill has only apologised for his antisemitism, not for his Islamophobia. But he has long held both prejudices. In 2014 he pleaded guilty to starting a hoax that a pub had banned military personnel to avoid offending Muslims. Presumably his ongoing Islamophobia is why Badenoch likes him.

Badenoch’s nuance and belief people can change on this issue is not one she extends to her opponents. This is why we can’t get past these situations again and again. She will say stuff about rehabilitation while having her shadow cabinet attack Lou Haigh day in day out for a misclaimed mobile phone.

That Joshua Bonehill-Paine is a suitable Tory candidate but Grant Shapps and Gavin Barwell have been excluded is quite a good indicator of how many seats the Tories will realistically regain at the next election.
