Sports only works if fans trust the game. The more teams directly partner with prediction markets, the more they risk blurring the line between competition and the money being made off predicting it.

Can already hear my next phone call with the old man, who will tell me he thinks they still have a chance at the playoffs. I’ll just let him believe and won’t crush those dreams by telling him to look at their September schedule.
