Happy 60th Anniversary Star Trek! It also had its own TTRPG adaptation published by FASA Corporation in 1983 running until 1989. It enjoyed a large number of sourcebooks based on the OG series and the films such as Star Trek IV letting fans dice roll their way through their own adventures!

It also mentions the "Kirk Defense" which, in the OG series, was the maneuver Kirk used to destroy the first Doomsday machine (he flew a starship into its mouth and detonated the engines, being beamed to safety at the last second...it's a great episode). The number of replies saying "Um, Bluesky is coded with AI" that don't seem to get the distinction between "AI bullshit we're forced to put up with by social obligations," and "AI bullshit we can freely opt out of" is pretty telling. Bluesky is the least bad of the available options. That's all.
