I love it in a #TTRPG session when I can put two characters together and they just take off into delicious roleplaying territory (and I can sit back, take notes, and rub my hands gleefully). Such a delight.

Game prep with my ADHD brain be like: "Ok, so for this scene, I need the characters to ABRACADABRA AMOR OO NA NA the characters need to go to this location *looks at a cascade of wikipedia links related to said location* ok and then they should ABRA CA DA BRA MORTA OO GAGA oh I need coffee."

The Mentalist really isn't doing it for me right now; the characters aren't compelling or clicking particularly well together so far. Time to try another procedural to keep me occupied.

Streaming videos should auto-skip the recap when you're bingewatching. If I've been watching for several hours straight, AppleTV, I don't need you to remind me what just happened.

Virgo: Stars are doing some brand new shit up there, I can't get a handle on it. I recommend you decide to think that's a good thing. What else can you really do? Actually, let's make it official: it's Smiles Week! The week when it's pointless to feel afraid or cause a panic.

I'm about to finish Bones (my easy watch show), so I need another early aughts or '10s show with a billion episodes so I don't just watch Supernatural for the 4th time. Any suggestions?

Today in "Mav's therapist speaks Supernatural," we named the know-it-all, smug, "you must do things my way or else" side of my brain Chuck, and then proceeded to discuss how Team Free Will (the other side of my brain) can shut him up and do things the way they need/want to. I have a good therapist.

I was stunned to learn not everyone permanently has a song stuck in their head. Wdym, your every waking thought doesn't have a soundtrack? Wdym, the space between your thoughts isn't filled with your brain belting a line or two at you over and over? I *wish* I could turn this mental jukebox off.

Should be working on my Call of Cthulhu scenario (I have a deadline), but I'm currently distracted by my oft-put aside novel. The Vampire Lestat has returned my attention to my space vampires and it is hard to break away from them right now.
