Periodic reminder that there is no such thing as a fiscal conservative. Because how comfortable or uncomfortable they are with a subsidy depends entirely on who gets the money. Texas receives $33 billion a year in oil subsidies. No fiscal conservative complains about that.

Reminds me of how NBC was getting big money to license their shows like the office to Netflix only to decide they weren’t getting enough and rolled their own streaming peacock service and still haven’t made up the difference iirc. Building software only looks easy!
