This is why Americans who say they’re ok with tolerating China because ‘hey, they’ve been peacefully and not started any forever wars’ annoy me. You can say that because China probably won’t touch the US. But Beijing is definitely involved in quite a few wars right now

Wargaming is such a strange experience - emotionally engaging, fun and sort of terrifying all at the same time. Earlier this week, I introduced a tactical game to a group of scholars working across the humanities. Very rewarding work!
