Some thoughts on Zones as a recurring trope in literature and film (e.g., STALKER, Area X, et al.): Quite proud of it as a work of critique, the first downside is that "zonal" is an ugly word. The second downside was unexpected, but I was in too deep by then.

Canvas automatic captioning needs to learn how to capitalize. Half my time working on these captions is spent chasing down the spots where I was 1% of a decibel louder and so it thought the word was a proper noun.

Missouri's Amendment 3 would restore an abortion ban with limited exceptions, but its advertising is focused on a different provision: banning gender transition care for minors. The campaign never explicitly states it would repeal the constitutional right to abortion voters approved 2 years ago.

Personally, I think that space is cool. I also think that the emphasis we place on it in our stories about the future is weird. The effect that these stories about the future have on policy decisions is also really weird.

Missouri friends: tomorrow is Election Day and I'm sure you already know to vote NO on amendments 4 and 5 to preserve our citizen-led ballot measure process and prevent a huge statewide sales tax hike, but please also vote YES on 1 to preserve an existing tax for parks and conservation too!

Have you considered that people are not arguing with you, they feel they're defending a beloved fantasy author who has passed away and is therefore unable to respond, himself? None of the responses are really about what you're saying, they're responding to what looks like a rhetorical attack.
