Found in the wreckage left behind after a wizard's laboratory blew up in a mysterious accident 33 years ago, Raygun uses she/her pronouns, likes dripping goop and slithering ooze, and thinks much too hard about Spock's booty hole for polite society

I just read a Reactor article about SNW which I should know better than to do bc they're always gonna be nicer than they should if not outright praising the shit show but this one called Pike a "horse girl" & went on & on about how he's a "caretaker" & he gives a fuck about his crew & he's not macho

got the absolute best trading card ever made tbh "incredible explosion!" it says, while Kirk stands there looking bored & unfazed. & then you flip it over & you get fucking BLASTED with Kirk eyesex beams. impeccable card

Front of a tmp trading card. It features an image of a little explosion and Kirk standing off to the side in parade rest looking on without much of an expression on his face. The title of the card reads "Incredible Explosion!"The back of the trading card which features a big close up of Kirk's face and he's kind of smirking and making hella eye contact

Running into Spirk yaoi on display in a museum was NOT on my bingo list. Mad respect to who curated this lol (Found at the State Library Victoria)

Fanzines took off in the 1960s and '70s inspired by TV programs like Star Trek and Doctor Who. Widely broadcast, these serials presented rich universes that were expanded on in fanzines.
This issue of Matter/Antimatter features a love story between
Captain Kirk and Spock. It is an example of 'slashfic' - a genre of fan fiction that imagines romances between characters of the same gender.
Romantic fan fiction showcases fantasies of the rebel heart, unconstrained by reality.
