I just got an amazing donation by a very dear friend and that means I'm now able to afford myself a roomba to help me clean, since one of the harder tasks for me since I got sick in January 🥹💜 But also I know nothing about roombas, so suggestions? xD I need it to both sweep and mop

We stand by and reiterate our call to boycott the New York Times. Their role in enabling trans genocide is immense, and we cannot stand by idly. Additionally, we stand with those before us who have called to boycott the Times over their complicity in the genocide in Gaza. Boycott and Divest NYT!

@transnews.network calls for a public boycott of the New York Times: “No excuses, no exceptions... This boycott will no longer be necessary when the NYT stops pushing [the] genocide [of trans people]." Read the news story by @charliebloomer.bsky.social: objectivejournalism.org/2026/08/tran...

🔥The Ritual🔥 "Kirk and Spock end up in ancient Vulcan, long before Surak's teachings. An important ancient ritual is about to take place and the performer has become ill. Not that surprisingly Spock is well-versed in the long forgotten dance and he's chosen to perform by Jim's amazed eyes." #Spirk

Illustration made for K/S Advent 2023 with the prompt of bone costume and Pre-Surak Vulcan.
"The Ritual", a traditional full color illustration done in vivid watercolors of an ancient Vulcan ritual. This piece is structured like a comic page where we see Kirk's profile in the first panel looking surprised, the next panel is a detail shot of his eyes widening at the view. In the center of the composition is the main part of the page, not being contained by paneling, of Spock wearing a traditional costume made with sculpted bones. He's standing tall in front of a column with his arms extended, hands opened on top of two big flames at his sides. The next panel is a focus of Spock's intense stare when he locks eyes with Kirk and in the last panel we see him raise a hand, the signal that the ritual dance is commencing.

People, the ✨Zine O'biology✨ is out for everyone to feast upon 🙌 Here's my contribution together with @campyalien.bsky.social awesome fic article "With a Mind as Fertile as the Chenesi": A Brief Exploration of the Interrelatedness Between Telepathy and Sexuality of the Vuhlkantra. #zineobiology

Digital illustration made for the Zine O'biology fic article "With a Mind as Fertile as the Chenesi": A Brief Exploration of the Interrelatedness Between Telepathy and Sexuality of the Vuhlkantra." by CampySpaceSlime and depicting a diagram of the qui'lari in both hand and fra'als. The diagram is divided into two parts, above there is the illustration of the main nerves inside the Vulcan hand and the qui'lari in it marked as stars, behind it you can appreciate the telepathic aura represented by golden waves coming from the qui'lari. Next to the hand there is a zoom in on the thumb where you see the inside of the pad and the nerves inside it. Right below it there is another small panel with the nervous sensors under the skin that are involved in the transfer of kash-tepul and telepathy as a whole. They are the Vulcan equivalent of Meissner corpuscles ("el-nala t'Senek" or Senek corpuscles) and Merkel discs ("mathra d'T'Pel" or T'Pel discs) as active sensors, nerve endings as passive sensors and lastly the hair root plexus as a hybrid sensor that cannot work on its own but it does as a driveway for the kash-tepul. The second part of the diagram, below the first one, is that of the fra'als. In the main illustration of this part you see a genderless lower torso with its fra'als fully displayed, you can appreciate both the spine and part of the hip, as well as the main fra'al nerve that comes directly from the spinal cord through the sacrum, crossing to the frontal part of the body. A greater and wider telepathic aura emanating from both fra'als and the lower torso in gold waves can be appreciated. There is a zoom in on the head of one of the fra'als, where you can see in detail the great quantity of nerves and nerve terminations that compose it, and also a detail of the 4 qui'lari that are differentiated in such a small area as is the little head of a fra'al. In the main fra'al illustration you can observe there are also qui'lari all along the fra'als length.

The Zine O'Biology, the speculative xenobiology journal Zine, is now live and available for free digital download! zine-obiology.itch.io/vol-1 #startrek #zine #zineobiology #fanzine

I was born with various disabilities, and I've become more disabled with time obviously. But man what I would give to be just a little less disabled than I am now, because even just watering my plants and doing some basic pruning has me bedridden and exhausted now -

Where would Trek be without a bunch of thirsty nerds? Gene Roddenberry kept Spirk fan fiction on the shelf in his office. He recognized the significance of the fan community in keeping the Star Trek legacy alive. Smut has been a part of Trek since the beginning & is vital to the fandom. 🖖🏻

I got a starter pack that I had early on, though I'd need to add some of the newer folks to it! go.bsky.app/81pRbiN

If you're in fandom, please engage with the fics you read, the art you view. You don't have to read/scroll everything, but if you *do* read/see it, please let the creators know. I am seeing so many people burn out because engagement keeps dropping. It feels like tapping the mic - 'is this thing on?'
