For those quick to grumble about the Scottish Government, there is only one thing holding Scotland back - Westminster and misguided loyalty to an outdated and one-sided union. The SNP’s strong constituency performance uses up much, if not all, of their proportional entitlement. This leaves most list seats available for other parties, such as the Tories, Labour and Scottish Greens. The more 2nd votes the Greens have the more list seats they receive = less Unionist seats.
