All this COVID revisionism and minimising makes me think back to April 2020 when I begged Mrs Moog not to call an ambulance as everyone who went to hospital at the time, including two neighbours, died alone on a ventilator and I’d rather die at home. Oh, and the last 6 yrs in bed with Long Covid.
'It's good to discuss', in practice means: 'accept all of the talking points of the worst faith biggest right wing conspiracy theory dangers who would get us all killed so if or when there is another mass public health emergency the crackpots can command the discourse & its framing'
I couldn't earn anything in lockdown and came very close to losing our livelihood and our home, fortunately there were gainfully employed columnists churning out excellent reading material to distract me
