Gen Z knows bullshit when it is shoved down their throats. just about all their lives they have seen it and know it's stink when it comes. no matter how lovely the icing that newscorp puts on the shit sandwich they know it still is shit - with lovely icing.

This has been thought up to circumvent the Australian voting system. Our system is excellent & makes others like the US look problematic. We should protect it. Intention to launder votes using plain dishonesty and trickery should be made illegal and punishable.
Right-wing operatives have just registered a fake Victorian party called "Refugees Are Welcome Here." It's named to look progressive. But it's actually a vote-laundering operation designed to send more votes to One Nation – and under Victoria's Group Voting Ticket system, it's perfectly legal.
Personally, I blame tv shows like The Today Show, Sunrise and ABC's News Breakfast for dumbing down Australians over at least the last a couple of decades. All that infotainment. All that confected laughter. All that bullshit. End of rant. #auspol
For once I agree with Senator Canavan. He knows that renewable energy means cheaper electricity - so why are the Coalition doing everything they can to block them?
Never gets old and we need more people to stand up to this shit human head on. And when I say people, that also includes MSM journalists
These things are on opposite sides of the planet but 100% connected. Human security demands we keep coal and gas in the ground.
Building submarines is the “pride of the nation” says Marles and SA Premier says the scale of the AUKUS investment is equal to 15 hospitals! I’ll take hospitals before submarines any day. Jobs building hospitals, homes, and dealing with global warming better than warmongering!
Always enjoy Labor Nat Conf. And this was a cracker. A few thousand people giving up a weekend to argue in public about how to make things better. Some of it I agree with. Some I don’t. But turning up beats sniping from the sidelines. Every time.
Ed Husic at Labor conference says he’s raising concerns about having our Defence in Israel despite the “genocide” in Gaza, military parts sent there, illegal settlements, Aussies fighting for Israel & being “potentially implicated in war crimes”💥 & dealing with them on “return”

Genocide, the word Albanese and Wong will never utter
By refusing to name genocide in Gaza, the Labor government avoids the legal and moral obligations that would follow – but not the shame of complicity.
