Wow! I thought any USA followers I have might be interested in this. One Nation (Australian far right party) being questioned by press pack for excluding ABC (national broadcaster) and Guardian from press conference. Would love to see this type of pushback to Trump for his treatment of journos.

Pauline Hanson flees her own custom-curated presser. With ABC & Guardian banned, & far-right criminal Avi Yemini running interference, still can’t handle questions, even from Sky “Shouldn't all media have access...?"💥 Not even sidekick Avi could save her from total humiliation.

Lindsey Graham was on his way back to Washington, DC from Ukraine to close the deal on new Russian sanctions and advocate for Ukraine to be allowed to produce Patriot systems locally. He dropped dead at an opportune time for the Kremlin. Who is left in Trump’s orbit to push those urgent issues?

Ukraine intercepted only one ballistic missile last night because the country has run out of missiles for its Patriot systems. In Kyiv, nine people were killed and 30 injured. Every delayed decision eventually arrives in Ukraine in the form of death and destruction.

This story is pretty alarming - the developer involved has gotten away with way too much thus far. "Aunty Sheryl Giles says she has been left devastated. She feels let down by the systems that are meant to protect her ancestors and culture." www.abc.net.au/news/2026-07...

My casual, inexpert claim is that when a rightwing party is doing well, polling frequency increases. I first noticed it during the Rudd/Gillard troubles..constant polls that Abbott rode the wave of. When is it real news and when is it actually manipulation? www.thenewdaily.com.au/news/politic...

As One Nation rebounds, a warning to read with care

Federal politics is awash with polling, with new data dropping on average twice a week during 2026. But is it good for democracy?

Tony Abbott the archetypal example of a noisy minority group leader demanding special status for his own group (Anglo-Celtic Christians), amounting to around 20 % of population. He should be grateful that multiculturalism allows this minority to benefit from publicly supported schools etc #auspol

If you could change one thing about how the legal system or mental health professionals handle parental alienation, what would it be? ⚖️ I’m curious to hear from those with lived experience or professional insight. Let’s talk about reform and better outcomes for families. 👇 #HealingJourney #CPTSD

Iranian tolls bad, Trumpian tolls good, bombing for peace and all things 2026. Australia, and the world, needs leadership now, not a bunch of tragic Trump-lite followers who won't say the blindingly obvious truth. The US is dangerous and the parts of the world that want freedom need to push back.

I think this is an excellent point. It's like there's 'safe' topics for media and 'unsafe' topics. I think we see similar in Australia too. The safe topics are gone hard on, and can provide cover for the things we're not being told enough about.

I think it helps that there's no moral dimension. The press has so thoroughly abdicated any responsibility to take Trump to task for the evil he does they can hardly start now - but fluffy incompetence they're allowed to go hard on.

10 years since the Brexit vote 10 years of political chaos, economic decline, and weakness on the world stage This wasn't an accident Brexit was part of a global movement against democracy Together we can resist fascism, rebuild society, reinvigorate democracy, and rejoin the EU
