Doctors say that you should eat a balanced diet that includes whole grains and fresh fruits and vegetables. A guy who snorts cocaine off toilet seat seats and doesn’t wipe his ass says you should subsist entirely on sauerkraut and steak. For a busy eaters it can be hard to know who to trust.

He wants her to consciously *throw out* exculpatory facts and *knowingly* prosecute innocent people. So facts can't persuade him by definition.
