i really, really wish people knew that introducing shame into discussions of eating disorders doesn't help anyone and makes those disorders worse. the way people are talking about a/riana g/rande is getting to me

This. Aside from the commonly known data scraping it's created an exhausting amount of scams to the point real creators are drowned out. Gen AI scammers steal creator process videos to make their own fake sob stories WHILE appropriating minority identities to sell their shitty drop-shipped crap.🙃

Gonna be blunt, the reason I complain about AI so much is because it's made so much extra work for me, as I'm inundated with AI slopware games that I have to sort through and filter out, if this garbage tech ceased to exist tomorrow, it would be an immediate ease of that workload.

i'm not far enough to say whether the durge is an AMAZING example of this, necessarily, but the fact of the matter is, this is quite literally the first time i've played a protagonist like this (where the narrative isn't bending over backwards to explain how they're in the right) since kotor

anyway i think more RPGs should give you player characters that are deeply flawed people who have done unambiguous harm in their backstory, and force you to not only contend with that, but pick up the pieces and figure out where to take that character next

I've mentioned it more than a few times already, but if you like point and click adventures AT ALL, then you really shouldn't sleep on Endacopia. Genuinely one of the best in years. Old-school (both in style and engine) but new spirit as it was made by by someone who wasn't even alive in the '90s.

Endacopia is a Point-and-Click Puzzle Adventure that is visually reminiscent of early computer edutainment games... with underlying horrors.
