Brutal break that they couldn't conclude the day session as there is still a crowd change they have to do, they could techniclly change crowds before the resumption however.
As @duckdablackswan.eurosky.social pointed out to me, Darderi was born in Argentina, which I did forget. But the ATP one-question was in Italian (as always), which is why I did forget that he’s Argentine-born. He stil speaks super fast.

Not easy when not a language you’re fluent in because he talks as fast in his native Italian as Rafa in his native Spanish. That’s how fast he speaks. But he’s super happy with his performance here, and happy with how his season is going. 😊

Iga Swiatek with a confidence building win 3-6, 6-1, 6-2 vs Marta Kostyuk, to me that's her best win of the year. Iga kinda let Marta implode which is not something we've seen, usually its been Iga as the one to get rattled this year but she hardly made any unforced errors the last 2 sets

But, all credit to Learner Tien, who plays exactly the right gameplan as Paul floundered, running away with a commanding 6-3, 6-2 victory in Montreal.
