For uneducated Americans only (because almost everyone else in the world knows this already): "Inshallah" is not a Muslim phrase. Inshallah is an Arabic phrase. Christians that speak Arabic, say inshallah. "Allah" is how you say God in Arabic. "Inshallah" is how you say "God willing" in Arabic.

"Joel" shares, "We're staking young apple trees, tying them to support them against the wind, in Parker WA. We're wearing masks as protection from the polluted air but it's still bad. I leave with a headache and very irritated eyes. The AQI is 189. I earn minimum wage." #WeFeedYou

DOGE gave US govt credentials to the Russians to steal our info. DOGE may be dissolved but the same people are still in the govt in leadership positions. Now they're feeding our info into AI. All of our information has been and will be stolen until they are stopped.

I need more ppl to be scared. As I've been bitching, I just lost my job & being replaced w/Ai. That's not the scary part. My job incl handling sensitive, private, medical info plus all your personal info up to SSN. It's all being fed to Ai & Ai is not covered under HIPAA. It's really fucking scary.

A teenager with diabetes in Gaza has to risk bombardment, walk through destroyed buildings & brave chaotic aid distribution sites in hopes of finding just one bottle of insulin. For health justice to become a reality, it must include Gazans, writes Lojain Naswhan in a new dispatch from Palestine.

In Gaza, displacement and chronic illness are a slow-burning crisis

For displaced Palestinians living with diabetes, accessing insulin is a matter of life and death

We're in the era of incompetence & cybercrimes headlined as "unprecedented model capabilities gone rogue." So OpenAI & Anthropic are trying to one up each other with such incompetence because the "press release as a service" performing media & clueless politicians parrot pre IPO CEO talking points.

“Earlier this year, we reported that police in multiple states were being told to be “as vague as permissible” about why they were using Flock because their searches could be obtained using public records requests, and that warning was being shared by the FBI and Department of Justice.“

When cops use Flock to arrest someone in Wapello County, Iowa, they don’t want them to know. A usage policy for Flock cameras in the county tells police, in no uncertain terms, to keep them a secret. @jasonkoebler.bsky.social reports. Story: www.404media.co/do-not-menti...
