We need a Stargate reboot, but one unconnected to Stargate SG-1. Go back to basics, in which a US military team goes through a mysterious portal found in Egypt to different worlds. No need to have the cheat of "Earth also has intergalactic battle cruisers".
The thing about Lindsey Graham dying is that he’s lost any chance at redemption. He went out as a bootlicker, having destroyed any illusion that he was a man of principals. They’ll never be a come-to-Jesus moment for him about Trump, because he want to Jesus. I think that’s a fitting legacy.

I enjoy the fact that when Teal'c on Stargate SG-1 moves into a local neighborhood, everyone more-or-less immediately realizes that he's the neighborhood superhero. Including him, and he's initially discomfited by it.
The Chicago #PokemonGoFest2026 was fun, but Scopely/Niantic erred pretty badly in not making Stufful, Panchem, and Teddiursa into event spawns alongside Snorlax.

There's a spectrum between "grimdark because all of this violence that is just making it worse" and "grimdark because all of this violence is necessary" And the further you move towards the latter side, the less interesting it becomes unless you have some serious ideas.
I know this is a sticking point with a few other people, but this! This is exactly it for me re: 40K. I'm not terribly interested in a Warhammer where this is not fundamentally true.

I tried to push back on a follower of mine defending using "zio," got accused of being one, and then blocked. So to make it absolutely clear: stop fucking saying that shit. "Zio" was coined by David Duke. The way in which so many of you have so easily slipped into this kind of antisemitism is BAD.
