I should clarify slightly that Fadner's letter states he's the owner of Soccer America, not specifically the publisher. But it's the same general point: the title is up for sale, and we are all going to be a lot worse off if it goes under.

I'm definitely NOT trusting Schneider et al inherently. But it's become clear this platform has a scale problem and needs to grow in order to provide the experience peak Twitter offered, before it got hijacked + Muskified. I see the lack of scale every day. It discourages people from coming over.

You may wonder why MLS teams look to top A-League players, now. Most notably, Lucas Herrington (COL) seems poised be sold for multiples of the ~$1.5m fee. Jovanovich to SJ , Trewin to NYC, Goodwin to CLT. Bonetig (POR) and Piol (RSL) as well. The reason: A-League's financial crisis = bargains.
