Just for the record - MARVEL is not kickstarting an art book of Jim Lee. PUG Worldwide is. Just like Clover Press crowd funds their art books. This isn't Marvel, at all. They licensed the art to the company so they can make the book. But a LOT of art books are funded this way now.

I paid for a celebrity photo op one time. Actually, I paid for a (very) cheap VIP ticket at a con so I could get Hayden Panettiere's autograph for a late friend. The photo op was included, so rather than let it go to waste I said what the hell and here it is. This was...geeze...almost 20 years ago.
Harvey & Joyce's adopted daughter Danielle is trying to raise funds to deal with Pekar's raw archive; basically four storage lockers full of notes, outlines, ideas, etc. Note this is not Pekar's comics per se. Those rights have been tied up in court for years. Long, ugly story. Worth backing.

A thing we DID know at the time if you understood what "exponential" means is lockdowns would have been shorter and resulted in fewer deaths if they were brought in each time it was obvious a wave was starting instead of waiting until it was underway. But, we had Boris Johnson in charge.

This assumes A) that revelation has even filtered down to their Fucks News brains, and B) they're even capable of embarrassment, which I doubt given the people they support and their cultish personalities.

I think it's quite alarming that this technology is not only unregulated but also being forced on all of us, irrespective of the other problems with it. It can very obviously damage people.
