If you want to understand just how corrupt FIFA is under Infantino, you have to grasp that his predecessor, Sepp Blatter, was forced to step down + charged w/ criminal fraud + conspiracy and yet, somehow seems quaint in comparison to what Infantino has done/is doing.
I am actually genuinely surprised, but also delighted, at UEFA's bold stance here. But it highlights that the stakes are, in fact, quite existential for the future of global football.

I’m so glad so many Americans watched the World Cup and got into soccer for the first time. Especially since that might’ve been the last World Cup as we know it.
A beautiful night for some soccer. Watching my favorite team (Utah Royals) vs my favorite player (Trinity Rodman).
Someone must be compensating for my odd choices: I did not place a single bet last year and I spent A LOT on books.

Almost 4 years ago, my then 11yo daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. My daughter + my partner have thrown all of their energy into advocacy + activism. Today, they met w/ a congressman + secured his promise to co-sponsor legislation promoting screening for T1D. I’m so damn proud.
