The "development and writing" portion of the Nolan Odyssey's wikipedia page suggests that it was written over just a few months. Maybe that's the difference between a scholar and a successful filmmaker but I can't imagine saying "I'm going to fix the Odyssey. 10 weeks should do it."

I’ve finally got to see the mural of St Mungo in Glasgow. The image depicts the city’s patron saint in modern clothing as a homeless man holding a robin, in a reference to one of his four legendary miracles.
