nothing soured me on remake culture faster than having actual conversations with people who said they'd rather not play older games unless they get a remake/remaster that might not even happen
People might get excited to see their favorite Final Fantasy game get remade. But do you really want FF6 to be 5 games long? What the hell would you even add? Adding more words to the script and more scenes and changing the story, for what purpose? It stopped being the same game long before this.
I'm recalling a moment from 13 years ago on a test channel where I was playing mm2 for a friend who still ribs me over this moment (we're both girls now)
